Visiting the Palace of Versailles during a stay at Disneyland Paris is an excellent idea. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes via the A104 then the A86. Our private taxi driver offers an estimate of around €170 for a one-way trip (~65 km on the taximeter) — one way or with waiting on site.
Distance and route Disneyland Paris → Versailles
The distance is approximately 65km via the A104 (Francilienne) then the A86 and the A13 to the Versailles-Centre exit. The journey takes 1h05 off-peak and until 1h30 during rush hour. Approximately 170 € by taximeter for a one-way ticket.
One way or day pass with waiting?
The complete tour of the estate (Château + Trianon + Hamlet + gardens) lasts 5 to 7 hours. For this type of visit, two options:
- One way ~170 € : we drop you off at Versailles, you manage the return by train (RER C or Transilien N) or new taxi
- Day package on quote : the driver waits for you during the visit, return to Disneyland at the end of the day — between €350 and €450 depending on duration
The package is more economical from 4 passengers and much more practical: no RER waiting, no return stress.

When to visit? Crowd per day
Versailles is closed on Monday. The busiest days: Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday (“closed Monday” effect). The quietest days: Thursday and Friday, especially when arriving at 9 a.m. as soon as it opens. Avoid long weekends and school holidays if possible.
Why not the RER C?
The RER C from Disneyland Paris requires 2 hours minimum with two changes (RER A to Châtelet, then RER C to Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche), for €14 per person. The taxi is unbeatable for families or groups: door to door, without fatigue, luggage in the trunk.
💡 Driver advice
If you visit the Grandes Eaux Musicales on a Saturday, leave early (Disneyland departure 7:30 a.m.) — the A86 west road is saturated from 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. On the other hand, the return at the end of the afternoon (5 p.m.-6 p.m.) remains smooth.
