Combining Disneyland Paris and the Eiffel Tower in the same stay is very common. The taxi journey takes around 50 minutes depending on traffic, for a taximeter fare of €110. Here is the complete guide to optimize your Parisian day.
Distance and route Disneyland Paris → Eiffel Tower
The distance is approximately 43 km via the A4, then the southern ring road (Porte de la Muette exit) or the riverbank routes to Champ-de-Mars. Count 50 minutes off-peak and until 1h15 during rush hour. Approximately 110 € at the taximeter.
Where to drop off for the Eiffel Tower?
Three strategic drop-off points depending on your objective:
- Avenue Gustave-Eiffel (Champ-de-Mars side, left bank): just under the South and East pillars, ideal for climbing
- Place du Trocadéro (right bank): the most beautiful photo view, Human Rights square — unmissable for selfies
- Pont d'Iena (at the foot): compromise between view and access to the Tower
Our advice: get dropped off at the Trocadéro for the photo, cross on foot (5 mins) to the Tower, and take a taxi back there after the visit.
Should I book the Eiffel Tower ticket in advance?
Yes, absolutely. Skip-the-line tickets can be purchased on toureiffel.paris up to 60 days in advance. Without reservation, the wait regularly reaches 2 hours in high season (April-October). The 2nd floor adult elevator ticket is €22.50, the top €35.30 (2026 prices). Choose a morning slot (9 a.m.-10 a.m.) to avoid crowds and benefit from ideal light for photos.
Combo Eiffel Tower + other monuments
The Eiffel Tower is well placed to continue:
- Champs-Élysées + Arc de Triomphe : 10 min by taxi via Pont d’Iéna and Avenue Kléber
- Quai Branly Museum : 5 min on foot — non-European civilizations, very accessible to children
- Bateaux-Mouches : Pont de l’Alma boarding, 10 min walk
- Invalids + Rodin Museum : 10 min walk via avenue de Suffren
Why the taxi rather than the RER + metro?
RER A to Charles-de-Gaulle-Étoile then metro 6 to Bir-Hakeim: 1h10 minimum, two changes, stairs, and €8.45 per person (zone 1-5). The taxi becomes economical from 3 people and door-to-door service without fatigue — a major argument after a day at Disneyland.
What to do in case of rain?
The Eiffel Tower remains accessible but the view is very limited due to poor visibility. In the event of wet forecasts, we offer a diversion to the Trocadero photo (5 min even under umbrella) then head to Orsay Museum (15 min by taxi) — best plan B.
Visit with children: our tips
The Champ-de-Mars has swings, merry-go-rounds, ice cream vendors and crepe stands — perfect for taking a breather before or after the climb. Count 2 hours minimum for the complete experience: Trocadéro photo + ascent + descent + relaxation Champ-de-Mars. Child seats offered in our taxis.
💡 Driver advice
For the return after visit, avoid going up the Champs-Élysées at the end of the afternoon (traffic). Ask for Boulevard Saint-Germain → Pont de Sully → quai Henri-IV → A4 — 12 minutes saved on Friday 6-7 p.m.
