How to Get to Disneyland Paris from London (2026 Guide)

Long-distance taxi to Disneyland Paris – Transfer Disneyland Paris

The direct London → Disneyland Eurostar ended in June 2023. Here are the 3 best routes in 2026, honestly compared.

Published on 10 July 2026

For 27 years, Eurostar ran directly from London St Pancras to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station, a 2-minute walk from the parks. That service ended for good in June 2023 and has never returned. In 2026 there are three good ways to get to Disneyland Paris from London — and the right one mostly depends on your luggage and your kids.

Option 1: Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord + taxi

The most popular route. Eurostar takes you from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord in ~2h16, with many daily departures. From there:

  • Taxi Gare du Nord → Disneyland (~€114 on the meter, 45-60 min): your driver waits at the platform exit with a name board, loads your bags and drops you at your Disney hotel entrance. For a family of 4 that's ~€28 per person — no stairs, no transfers.
  • RER A train (~€8 per person, ~1h15 total): you first have to cross Paris by metro or RER with your suitcases through corridors and stairs. Fine solo, exhausting with children after an early Eurostar.

Our honest advice: travelling light as a couple, take the train. With kids, a stroller or more than 2 suitcases, a taxi from the Paris stations changes your whole day.

Option 2: Eurostar via Lille + direct TGV

The smart alternative: London → Lille Europe (~1h30), then a direct TGV from Lille to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy. Total journey ~3h05 depending on connections. The big advantage: you arrive at the parks' own station without crossing Paris. The downside: fewer departures, and a tight connection can be stressful. Once at Chessy, partner hotels (Explorers, Dream Castle, B&B…) are still 5-10 min away — a local taxi (~€30) takes you door to door.

Option 3: Fly to Paris CDG + taxi

From London (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted), flights to Paris CDG take ~1h15. On arrival, our CDG → Disneyland taxi (~€114, 45 min) waits in the arrivals hall with free flight tracking: if your plane is late, the driver adjusts automatically. With low-cost airlines this is often the cheapest option overall — and the easiest with children.

Quick comparison 2026

  • Via Paris + taxi: ~3h30 door to door · maximum comfort · best for families
  • Via Lille + TGV: ~3h05-3h45 · no Paris crossing · limited frequencies
  • Flight + CDG taxi: varies by airport · often cheapest · flight tracking included
