Taxi fares in France: what you need to understand
Taxi prices in France are strictly regulated by prefectural decree. No driver can charge more than the official rate, and no negotiation is possible (down or up). This regulation protects travelers from excessive surcharges, unlike VTCs whose price varies according to demand.
The zone B Île-de-France price 2026
All journeys to Disneyland Paris from Île-de-France fall under the Zone B rate :
- Support : 4,40 €
- Kilometer rate : regulated rate per kilometer (day + night + Sunday, same 7 days a week)
- Waiting rate : €39.15 per hour (rare in transfer service)
- Minimum stroke : 8 €
These rates are the same day and night, weekend and public holiday. No “evening” surcharge, "Sunday" or "party" is not applied for zone B races (unlike zone A for intramural Paris).

- Paris center (42 km average) → ~110 €

Why are the estimates "approximate"?
The taxi fare is calculated on the distance actually traveled, not on the theoretical distance. If traffic requires a 3 km detour, the meter charges for it. This is why our estimates use "≈": they are accurate to ±5-10 € depending on traffic conditions.
Are there any extras to be expected?
A few rare official supplements exist but are very limited in our service:
- Baggage : no baggage surcharge in our service (some taxis charge €2 per piece of luggage in addition to 1)
- 4th passenger : no extra charge with us (some taxis charge €4.75)
- Pet : no supplement if the dog is accepted (to be reported when booking)
- Child seats : offered for free on request
No “toll” surcharge applies because the motorways used (A1, A4, A86, A104) are free in Île-de-France.
How to pay for your taxi at Disneyland?
Several payment methods accepted:
- Bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, Amex): contactless terminal in the vehicle
- Species in euros
- Bank transfer or PayPal on invoice for businesses
- Expense report : detailed receipt provided with mention of the trip
No deposit is required for individuals. Payment at the end of the race, amount displayed by the approved meter.
How to check that you are not scammed?
Some signs of a compliant taxi:
- The taximeter meter must be on at the start of the race
- Theprice sticker Prefecture must be visible on the rear window
- The professional card of the driver is displayed on the dashboard
- The taxi registration number is on the roof light
- A detailed receipt is provided at the end (date, amount, registration, race number)

Taxi vs VTC: what is the price difference?
VTCs (Uber, Bolt, Heetch) apply dynamic pricing: €70-90 during off-peak hours, but 120-180 € during peak hours or during events (concerts, holidays). The taxi remains at 100 € fixed for CDG-Disneyland in all circumstances — often cheaper than VTC in peak.
