Are you landing in Paris and the castle is waiting for you? There exists four big ways to reach Disneyland Paris from the airport. Here is the clear comparison, without tongue in cheek, to decide in 30 seconds.
Comparison: the best way at a glance
| Fashion | Duration (CDG) | Indicative price | For whom? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Taxi/private transfer | ~45 mins | ~100 € (1-7 people) | Families, luggage, comfort, door-to-door |
| RER B + RER A | ~1h15 | ~12 € / person. | Small budget, little baggage |
| Shared shuttle | 1h–1h30 | ~25 € / person. | Solo/duo without heavy luggage |
| Uber / VTC | ~45 mins | variable (dynamic price) | Direct route, unpredictable price |
| Rental car | ~45 mins | rental + parking + fuel | Itinerant stay |
In summary: the taxi is the quickest and simplest, especially with several people (the price is shared); the RER is the cheapest but requires a connection with suitcases; the shared shuttle has many stops.
Option 1 — Taxi (or private transfer)
This is the option door to door : your driver waits for you in the arrival hall with a sign, loads your luggage and drops you off directly at the entrance of your hotel. Count approximately 45 minutes from CDG, 50 from Orly. The price is at official taximeter (≈ €100 from CDG, €130 from Orly), for 1 to 7 passengers at the same price — so unbeatable as a family. No connections, no waiting, ideal after a long flight or with young children. Calculate your exact price.
Option 2 — The RER (the most economical)
Since CDG : RER B to Châtelet (or Vincennes), then RER A direction Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy. Since Orly : Orlyval + RER B + RER A. The terminus, Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy, is a 2-minute walk from the parks entrance. Count approximately 1h15 and ~12 € per person. Economical, but impractical with suitcases, a stroller or during rush hours (connections, stairs, crowds).
Option 3 — The shared shuttle
Collective shuttles connect the airports to Disney hotels. The price per person is interesting for one or two people, but the journey is longer (stops at several hotels), times are fixed and waiting at the airport can be notable. From 3 people, one private taxi often costs the same overall price, twice as fast and live.
Option 4 — Uber / VTC and rental car
Uber and VTC offer a direct journey similar to a taxi, but with a dynamic pricing which rises on busy evenings and rainy days — difficult to anticipate the price. The rental car only makes sense for a traveling stay: otherwise, you have to add hotel parking (paid) and manage driving after the flight.
From CDG, Orly or Beauvais: the specificities
Roissy CDG is the closest airport (~45 min, ~100 € by taxi). Orly is to the south (~50 min, ~130 €). Beauvais, used by low-cost companies, is much further away (~1h15-1h30, ~€260 by taxi) and its official shuttle leaves from Paris, not from the airport: the taxi is often the only direct option there for an early or late flight.
Our advice
For a family or group with luggage, the private taxi is almost always the best choice: direct, at a fixed taximeter price, and the cost is shared. For a budget and light solo traveler, the RER does the job. Whatever your hotel, see our 14 hotel pages for precise prices and access, or book online in 2 minutes.
